
Edirne is one of the largest cities of Turkey, located in Thrace on the European part of Turkey, 7 km of the 18km border with Greece and Bulgaria with an estimated population of 128,400. Edirne is famous for its mosques, covered bazaars, minarets and domes and elegant ships in the city.
Formerly known as Adrianople in Roman times, under Ottoman rule was the imperial capital. During the Ottoman Empire and its capital, reached its peak Edirne, mosques have been built several works that reveal the stunning beauty of this era.
